By accessing, browsing, or utilizing the DocIT web service (docit-raju.vercel.app) or installing the DocIT Android application, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must refrain from using the platform and uninstall the application.

DocIT provides online and on-device document utilities including but not limited to PDF merging, splitting, image-to-PDF generation, compression, encryption, text extraction, and format conversions.

• Zero Retention Policy: Documents processed on our cloud infrastructure are handled in temporary memory streams and destroyed immediately upon task completion. We do not maintain backups or catalogs of your files.
• Local & Device Processing: Tools executed within our Android application or client-side web engine process data directly on your local device without sending content to external servers.
• Ownership: You retain complete, unrestricted ownership and intellectual property rights over all documents submitted to DocIT.

When utilizing DocIT, you agree not to:

• Upload or process materials that infringe upon any patent, trademark, copyright, or trade secret of any third party without legal authorization.
• Transmit any files containing malicious code, trojans, worms, or automated scraping scripts intended to disrupt server stability.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer server conversion endpoints, perform denial-of-service (DoS) attacks, or bypass rate limits.
• Use the service for fraudulent, deceptive, or illegal activities under applicable local or international laws.

4. Intellectual Property & Creator Attribution

The DocIT brand, logo, user interface designs, custom icons, algorithms, and application code are the intellectual property of Prithviraj S (prithvirajs.vercel.app) and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

Except as explicitly authorized in writing, you may not copy, replicate, redistribute, or frame the DocIT web platform or application architecture for commercial competition.

5. Software Updates & Mobile Releases

The DocIT mobile application includes an automated Over-The-Air (OTA) update mechanism to ensure users receive performance enhancements, security patches, and new format capabilities. By installing the APK, you acknowledge that update notifications and downloads may be presented within the application interface.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

DocIT is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. While we strive for 100% conversion precision, we do not guarantee that document formatting across proprietary complex layouts will be flawless in every scenario.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Prithviraj S, DocIT contributors, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your access to or inability to use the services, including loss of data or operational interruptions.

8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Kerala, India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Calicut, Kerala.
